stargaterSo, it appears to be true... Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas is actually closing and apparently will do so in September. Here's the original article about it.

rithmah and I got to go when we did. It was so much fun, I loved looking at all the props and the walking time-line. The giddy excitement that I tried to contain while walking along the shops on the DS9 promenade, eating in Quarks (and falling out of the booth, that was so embarrassing) and in the Klingon Encounter ride standing on the bridge of the Enterprise-D then hurrying along to the shuttle to "escape" the Klingons. Then being poked in the back by the Borg nanoprobes and being sprayed in the face with the little squirts of water in the Borg Invasion 4-D ride. I'm still hoping they'll find a new home for it maybe add some new stuff and make it even better. That'd be grand.

Getting squirted in the face by the Borg sounds interesting. Something similar happened in the Stitch ride at Disney. Sadly, however, my over-riding memory of THAT ride is the chili dog burp he lets rip. THAT WAS DISGUSTING. x_x I won't go on that 'ride' again. blah. I hope the Borg didn't burp on you ;p

I inquired about it with the waiter who said they didn't have those glasses anymore but could bring it in something else. When he arrived back it was in a plastic-like container of which I had no interest in and told him sorry that it must have been a misunderstanding and that I didn't want it then so he took it away. Then I decided to take a picture and went to slide out of the booth to a better location and well those plastic-y type seats can be quite slick sometimes and it just happened to be at that moment so I slid right out alright and splayed face first right into the floor. I looked up to the waiter standing over me asking if I was sure I didn't have any of that drink after all. lol.

Yes. Stitch= muchly gross. And, you're lucky lol! Actually, I wonder what Borg's breath smells like? They don't eat or drink or anything...It's probably bad x_x ewww. I wish I hadn't thought of that LOL.

And then you're a Borg with stinky breath too. That's a fab idea, a dentist! *imagines a Borg saying "wait, I'll assimilate you just after I brush. **brushes** Hygiene, you know." as you stare at the Borg brushing it's teeth because really who wouldn't stare at a tooth-brushing Borg, then yoink!* hahah
