DHD sighting?

Watching Fox News tonight at work I spotted what appeared to be a mini Dial Home Device masquerading as a garish piece of jewelry. It bears a remarkable resemblance to a DHD, no? Aside from that, I don't know why anyone would want to wear the hideous thing. And it's gotta be heavy, it looks heavy. It's probably heavy. And scratchy. Not worth the wear. Unless of course, it was an actual mini DHD but I have my doubts.

Or it's some huge version of the Eye of Ra -- wasn't that the necklace thing that they had to get to save Earth, or something like that?

That thing is HIDEOUS. And look at how much her blouse has to gap so that you can see it... that is ridiculous.

I suppose there were actually two 'Eye of Ra' then because there's the original, the amulet that Catherine Langford had and later in the series the crystal (all called different "eyes") that would power Anubis's super weapon. The necklace was gold and small and had the Eye of Ra inscription on it, the other eye looked sort of like that though. Probably be about the right side too :P

Ridiculous indeed. It blows me away sometimes seeing the stuff that people wear like that.

Reminds me of a fan fic I read. The guys were watching tv and talking, and at the end they noticed that on QVC(I think there was a good reason for QVC being on?)the tech they were selling was some kind of Goa'uld mind control device or something. And the QVC lady's eyes were flashing lol
