Alright, I admit I held a tiny bit of expectation for this episode in reference to the spoiler forever ago on GW from Joe Mallozzi's blog about a "not so subtle hint about Carter's love life" and of course once again it was absent. This is Stargate though and I'm used to these sorts of things so I wasn't surprised or even disappointed but perhaps a little annoyed. Because I learned they cut that part out but by golly left in the "show them your boobs" bit. WTF? >8/

Anyway about the episode... it was alright and most definitely a filler. Not much else to say, probably what made me like it as much as I did was that it was heavy on the Rodney. And I liked that Carter finally did something, I get in the beginning they needed to underplay her part in it all but they could have at least used her a bit more. I'm not going to get started on that whole bit now because it's just going to send me into a rant about the 5th season and the actions/decisions of TPTB.

And sorry to say Shep, but I think Keller is well under way to stealing your role of Atlantis!Kirk.

That's about it. Yep.

Well I hadn't heard until Friday afterwards honestly because I forgot about it and I've been a bit meh about Stargate lately so I haven't read much about it. hahaha I bet you're pleased as punch and I see you still have your anti-s/j icon ;P teehee

I did like the episode and character stories like you said, I just think it annoyed me in the end because of the above :P

Yeh I'm meh on gate too...kind of watching out of habit now. Pretty much just want the damn Continuum movie to be released already.

Mallozzi posted the missing scene dialogue on his blog if you want to torture yourself and read it. There were rumblings about including it as a deleted scene on a dvd :P

Habit, that's a good way of putting it. I'll continue to watch it as long as it's on TV I suppose just like I've always done with other shows even if I may not agree/like what's happening.

oooooooooooh yay! I hadn't had a chance to go looking up the deleted scene but I would have sooooooo much preferred that to have been left in ;) tah for passing it along, I know it must have been tough for you ;P hmm deleted scene on the DVD you say, I'll keep watch for that. hehe :D

Yeh it's totally habit. I just keep meandering along watching every episode but not really following the deets. The wraith with the what now? Yawn.

Tough? Nah. It never happened, so it's not tough it's gleeeeeeful. :D
It's a bad scene to cut for Keller. Without it she seems slutty. (Which I believe is the female term for sleeps around, the male equivalent is 'heroic') =d
The Carter bit I can live without. It kills me that they still aren't actually naming names.....so even if they left it in, they still wouldn't be canon strictly speaking. HEE. HEE HEE.

hahaha Keller did come off as quite a hooch :P And just who else would she possibly be seeing that's in Washington? Though the absence of naming names does irritate me, I think they do things like that just for the purpose of torturing fans. pfffft canon-smanon, I'll make an exception with this one :P
