Like this one movie I watched a couple weeks ago, I can't even remember the name of it, where vampires try to take over this small Alaskan town. 30 Day of Night by any chance? LOL! I remember us discussing Josh Hartnett's talent for making movies that suck (no pun intended) - and that was yet another. TBH, actually, S downloaded it but it was a screwed up copy so after 15 minutes it jumped to like the last 15 mins or something and honestly, I was so glad. S was enjoying it sorta but I was just hating it. So when we had to turn it off I was \0/
So yes, vamp (and horror) that are in it just for the gore= zzzzzzzzzzzzz. I dislike those too.
Kindred was sooo excellent. If it ever comes out on Region 2, I'm SOOO buying it. :P
Ah, yes! That's it, 30 Days of Night and I now remember talking about Josh Hartnett lol. The movie wasn't that bad, but it was bad enough :P I don't know why they don't do more of tragic story rather than the gory horror with it, but I guess a lot of people probably associate vampires with horror. *shrugs*
