IL-LU-MIN-ATE!

Inspired by a post over at [livejournal.com profile] doctorwho where someone made an Etch A Sketch Dalek (which was brilliant btw) and since I obviously have nothing better to do with my time (like sleeping and such) I made a Lite Brite Dalek.

My trial run. I ended up only making one minor change to it as I was quite pleased the way it turned out the first time.

I didn't have any black or dark colored paper so I had to tape together some cut up parts of a 'starry' background from an old Star Wars booklet thingy. They were meant to be cut out anyway so fret not ;)

IL-LU-MIN-ATE!

The final product. Some of the pegs wouldn't stay properly straight and in place because of the thickness of the taped parts on the underside of the paper but I think it turned out alright. :D

You know, it is entirely too much fun playing with Daleks :P

LOL! Sorry. I don't know if I remember you using it before per sae but I've seen it before in various comments here and there. I did google it before I asked but all it really came up with was 'the dirty wool around a sheeps butt' ewww (hence the Something good I hope ;P comment lol j/k :P) So, yay thanks for the clarification, I feel better versed in slang from 'round the world :D

And thanks, I'm glad you find my little whims amusing :) At least I'm not the only one getting amusement out of some of the things I come up with lol ;P

Yes, the ew wool around a sheep's butt is the original meaning I'm pretty sure. But 'dag' means sooooooo much more these days :P It really depends on the context surrounding the word I'd say. It could be used an as insult of sorts too, although I can think of far better insults ;p (dag as an insult wouldn't be too effective imho).

Oh, I do indeed find your whims and whatnot (not sure how to define your amusing posts :P) *very* amusing indeed! I try not to drink tea when I check your replies/comments for fear of me spraying it over my computer ;p
