Random ramblings

stargaterJust a few meanderings. Firstly, I am all caught up on BSG and I must say that I like what I see! It has been very good so far and I'm looking forward to new eps. I beginning to really like Apollo, plus he's got a boyishly handsome look about himself. For awhile at first I kept thinking he reminded me of someone, and then I got it...Jonas Quinn! I don't know why, but for some reason to me he seems to resemble Corin Nemec. I think it's his chin. *shrugs* Anyways, with SG1 and SGA coming back, Sci-Fi Friday looks to be the best yet.
I think I'm officially hooked on KOTOR, I don't know why I just didn't give in to temptation long ago and get it then, because I'm sure I would now be enjoying KOTOR 2. It really is a very good game and the story line is really good. Indeed.
Also, there is something of great disturbance to me outside and I must speak of it. My apartment building is near the woods and there is a little walking path between the building and a small grassy area and then the woods. Well over in the small grassy area, there is this...erm strange thing. I have come to call it the 'Earth Sore' because it looks like someone just sliced open the ground and left it to fester. Imagine if you will a nice flat grassy area with a mound in the middle. The mound is covered with grass, but the grass is a sickly looking yellow color. Also imagine the mound having a big cut in the middle of it, like an open wound and inside is dark dirt, like innards. I find it very disturbing and sometimes find myself staring at it in sick morbid fascination as I near it, it really looks like an open sore. blech! Anyways, I know it wasn't there before winter and I'm just not sure what it is. Perhaps it's something to do with the sewer system, a lift station or a pump perhaps...but all that aside, it's just really nasty. *shudder*
On another note while I'm still rambling...I bought chocolate! mmmm choooooocolate. rawr
