I had the TOUGHEST time today getting this video uploaded anywhere that wouldn't completely destroy the quality. Vimeo seemed to do the best with it, though it took forever for it to finish. There's a tiny audio glitch at 2:12 and a tiny video glitch at 2:14 and some of the effects and transitions between frames aren't as smooth as they should be but I'm tired of messing with trying to get it uploaded glitch free. It's on YouTube as well (see links above) though there's a couple glitches in it there too. The download links offer a lower quality version (78.69mb wmv @ 640x480) of it. I'm not planning on uploading the HQ version as it's over 200mb but if anyone really wants it, I will.

This is one of my favorite vids that I've done, it was a lot of fun to make despite the troubles I've had getting it online. You'll see I added "relliketh" as the name I'm now associating all my vids with. It's a trusty DS9 reference that I've used off and on for years that I've always been fond of, especially since it's not something I see very often being used for anything so it's pretty unique. This vid is happy and fun, something I'm definitely going to need a lot of come the first of the year after watching the tragedy that I know TEoT part 2 is going to be. So watch and be happy. Yay! :D

This is a video I actually started working on some time ago and decided to hold off to see what the end of series 4 might have brought but then I didn't feel like working on it after that until just this weekend. It does have a few clips from TSE & JE though they are all contained in the last minute and a half of the video. I almost hesitated using the s4 stuff but I liked it and Handy is the Doctor too and he's with Rose now and it's all canon and happiness and that's that.

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, this is definitely one of my favorites out of all that I've done. There's a tiny glitch where the video jumps slightly that's probably only noticeable to me (except now I've pointed out its existence lol) but I decided against fixing it because I didn't want to wait for it to render all over again as a video like this takes almost an hour to do so.

Also, I encourage you to download the HQ version of the video or at least visit the YouTube link and watch it in high quality. Here we go now, shippy-fun-fest ahead. Allons-y!

Someone posted this in the startrek community the other day and I just can't stop laughing. This is probably one of the best (and funniest) Trek vids I've seen in a long time. My favorite parts are Q dancing with the band, Data & Dr. Crusher dancing and Data with his head. lol. It inspires me to want to finish my TNG music vid that I've been working on forever. hee

I've actually had the idea for this video for some time but just hadn't found the right song for it. That is until I was watching Jericho last night and Mad World (from the Donnie Darko soundtrack and Gears of War commercial) was on it and I remembered how much I liked the song. It just all fell smoothly into place after that.

It's DS9 themed and centers on the Dominion war. It's pretty somber and reflective and I thought the song was a perfect fit for it. I also did another one with an alternate beginning, where before the video and song start, it's a scene from Sacrifice of Angels where Miles and Julian quote a verse from Alfred Lord Tennyson's The Charge of the Light Brigade. I really like the poem and it's perfect with everything else but in the end I decided I didn't like it as much overall. I don't usually care for original audio to be spoken in music vids though I have seen some that are done extremely well. I didn't think mine fell into that category so I left it out. However, I really do like this video and it is one of my favorites of all that I have done.
