oh shopping day oh shopping day
Jan. 17th, 2005 05:11 pmToday was a shopping day. No I did not intend it to be, but alas it became one. I love spontaneous shopping days however my checkbook does not. lol
The whole reason for the trip was:
1. Vanity Fair magazine (which no store around here had!)
2. Food at Aldi's.
I finally found VF at Barnes & Nobles and bought two copies. I think that 4 page fold-out would make a nice poster. My wingstock has also been replenished.
I was succesful in the above two of course and along the way also found a few other goodies. Bought 3 new video games, yea like I need any more video games...2 playstation games and 1 PC game. The PC game is one I have been drooling over since its release, yes I finally bought Knights of the Old Republic. I was in the video game area and was just browsing when it called to me from behind a pile of other games that had spilled beind the other selections on the shelf. It was the only one there and didn't even have a space on the shelf, so I deemed it my responsibility to rescue it. It's all loaded and awaiting for me to play it. eheee
I also bought the movie The Village, because I really liked it and a few other assorted things. I must now go obey the urge to play my new game and I'm also going to catch up on all the Battlestar Galactica that I have missed lately sometime tonight. Indeed.
