*points to the new pretty*

I decided I wanted to make a new ep 3 icon and here it is! The words were inspired from one of [livejournal.com profile] starbuck92's earlier posts, gracias! Of course I couldn't just make one, there are 3 more versions of it and all the bases under the cut )

This is brought on by the many times that I have seen these commercials and have become to particulary hate them. Somtimes it makes me want to turn off the TV all together.

1. Hardees commercials
2. Tag body spray commercials
3. Burger King commercials

All of the above (especially Hardees and Tag body spray) are nothing more then sex appeal geared towards men. Now there isn't anything wrong with using sex appeal if it's done properly and with tact. These things are a part of our society and it's expected to see it, but at least if your going to promote it do it with some descretion. I mean honestly, thinking of sex and greasy hamburgers does not make me want to run out and buy a Hardees meal. I especially hate the ones where the woman is on the mechanical bull eating that big nasty burger and the one where the 30-something year old guy is in bed with his mother while she bottle feeds him. ugh.

On the flip side, a few of the current commercials that I really like:
1. Vonage commercials (whoo hoo whoo hoo hoo!)
2. Coke commercials (put the lime in the coke you nut and drink 'em all up!)
3. Dairy Queen Moolatte commercials (especially the one with the woman in the lab and gets shocked everytime she touches the drink)
4. Geico commercials
5. Mazda commercials

I think I'm done ranting about this for now.
