Tonight I watched the new Sci-Fi show Eureka, one so I could see the extended preview for BSG and two because it looked kind of interesting.
First the preview...sweet! A couple interesting tidbits thrown in there that I'm anxious to know about (no spoilers for me!) and I really liked the composition of the preview. It really builds you up for whats coming up in season 3 and I'm looking forward to it muchly.
Eureka was pretty good, it has that oddity feel to it (vaguely reminds me of xfiles in a fleeting sense), it's fairly amusing and it has a Jack! eehee another Jack. And how can I not be amused that his name is Jack Carter :P Anyway, I'll probably continue watching it to see how it goes and for now it's keeping my interest.
I also watched the show that aired before it Dead Like Me which I know was a show on Showtime before it got cancelled but I never watched it. It's fairly amusing in a morbid sense, so I'll probably continue to tune into this one as well.
You know I've always wondered why networks pick up shows that have been cancelled, does it mean they have some interest in renewing the show or just simply airing what was filmed before the cut? Still it's cool to revisit some long gone shows that might not have done that great but were still pretty interesting. I'm still hoping that Sci-Fi will pick up Surface and/or Invasion because I thought those were both really good shows. Indeed.
