So it seems FOX is moving Fringe to Friday nights in January, to the dreaded "death slot" time slot. FOX is notorious for sending shows to die on Friday nights and I won't lie, it really worries me, HOWEVER, it could actually be a good thing for it too. Fringe gets compared to the X-Files a lot so I'm going to make another comparison here - XF thrived in it's Friday night time slot, one of the few shows on FOX that did and I think Fringe could do the same. Fringe fans are a loyal bunch and will follow it wherever it goes so I really don't expect to see a drop in ratings, I'm hoping it being on a less competitive night will even boost it a bit. And that could be good for FOX since moving it could give a boost overall in it's low Friday night ratings. It'd be ironic if Fringe became the show that carried FOX's Friday nights.
I've often wondered if Fringe is a bit too unique, like XF did, it takes viewers to a new level and right now we are a nation of reality tv and procedural drama junkies. Nielsen gets it wrong sometimes and I think it's missed the mark with Fringe. It being on FOX and labeled as "sci-fi" doesn't help much either. Yeah, it's my favorite show on TV right now and all but it really is an intelligent and engaging show. Give it a chance people, you'll be glad you did!

I'm planning on re-watching last nights episode (WHICH TOTALLY ROCKED) sometime this weekend and write a review of it then. So much goodness, I can hardly stand it. Like I can hardly stand the two week wait we're in for now until the next quintessential episode of all episodes. Eeep!
