A few things

It's another gorgeous day out again! It's 65F, sunny and just lovely. I really hope this nice weather sticks around, the weather here has an awful tendency to turn ugly on us in March just when we're all ready for Spring.

And there was just way too much "foot"age on American Idol last night. If you watched it you know what I mean. Ick.



Another good episode, I really liked seeing inside the Old Man's head for awhile and some background on his personal life. Adama & Roslin were quite cute as well, she totally flirted with him the entire time! And the cut scene is quite amusing hehe. Tyrol & Cally trapped was a good side story to what was happening with Adama and I'd really like to see them work out their issues because I like them together.

That episode really reminded me how dark the film ... the Bill/wife scenes were so colorful and clean. It was quite a stark contrast.

Bambert's acting (Apollo) does seem odd lately though ... don't know if it's him or the writers, but that whole "breaking down b/c mum was mean" bit seem very random and odd.

And Cally is a cutie. In an iron lung now, oh noes! (heh, or whatever it is)

It was odd, but I attributed a lot of his early frustration and disagreement with Bill because of something(s) that happened in the past, so I thought it kinda wrapped some of that up. Other than that I don't think his acting is really any different, I'd probably lay that in the hands of TPTB.

Our weather is warmer, which upsets me b/c we have had like, one entire day of snow all winter *cries & whines* ;.;

I don't watch AI. I actually didn't think we got it! But then my parents and brother were watching when I went home so, apparently, we DO get it lol!

Still wonderfully warm here. I'm beginning to think we are just being tricked and all of a sudden a blizzard will show up ruining it all until April lol

Admittedly, I got suckered into American Idol and Survivor early on and have added a few others here and there along the way :p Silly reality tv, it's so darn addictive sometimes! And the ironic thing is that so many of them are so far from reality that you just have to watch it anyway. Kind of like passing a train wreck I suppose, you just gotta look lol :P

Oh, I know they're addictive sometimes! I loathe reality TV b/c it's rarely 'real', as u say - but my biggest objection is - often times if it's a 'talent' show - the so-called judges go way too far, which I totally detest. Finding entertainment by humilating people is just NOT on for me. But sometimes my brother or parents are watching something just so totally out there, I *have* to watch x_x Then, of course, i feel like a total hyporcrite lol!

But yeah, I mainly avoid them like the plague.

I agree sometimes judges are just mean for no reason. I think they just all try to copy Simon Cowell, but with him the things he says sometimes really are true. He just doesn't sugar coat it as much as Paula or Randy does.

I still ended up being suckered into it all, I'd have so much more tv time if it weren't for reality tv :P

Well I watch all those shows that I have in the sidebar, minus The OC now, I need to take it off. I'm also watching Wife Swap & Trading Spouses (more reality tv madness) and the four hours of Enterprise that is showing on Sci-Fi now. I was watching The Dresdin Files but I'm sort of starting to lose interest in it now. I don't count them in my watching list here because they are either syndicated or shows I watch in passing, not always faithfully sitting down to watch them all the time :P

Yep, Jericho is still on and it's pretty good, I like it. I don't know how long it will last though, I don't really see it hanging in there for more than a season or two but who knows :P

Can I tease u about watching Enterprise? ;p Oh - and any opinions on jj abrams & Trek 11? I'm not sure what to think. On one hand I'm *squee* b/c the first two season of LOST were so good. On the other hand I'm worried bc post s2, LOST sucks serious ass [for me - all my faves are dead & I've never seen any of his other stuff ;p]

I gave up on Jericho. It sorta went downhill for me and became too teeny or something. I also would love to know how that store clerk guy managed to restock the store from the derailed train a million miles from the town with no car/truck or help x_x

Can I tease u about watching Enterprise? ;p Why not, everyone else does ;P And I'm not sure just what to make of Trek XI yet. Like you, on one hand it's kinda exciting because of JJ, he does good stuff, but on the other I'm not all that enthused about a "young Kirk & Spock" theme really. I'm remaining open minded about it for now though. We shall see.

haha yea that train part of Jericho made me chuckle then as well and also at the beginning where they pulled out all that equipment to test for radiation, I don't know of many "small town" types of places that just keep that stuff lying around :P
