Yeah I've followed the assumption she died in The Time War, but basically because that was the only opinion I heard from people. I would figure if she was still alive he'd of gone back to see her one last time and perhaps he did just that, but she was dead. Knowing The Doctor though even if she'd lived stayed on Earth and lived through the war, he wouldn't of stayed on Earth with her; I think he would at least try to stay, and eventually, or just from the get go, perhaps attempt to get her to leave with him again, but she wouldn't go because she had a family of her own and stuff. I know knowing everything might take something away, but it's bloody annoying at times. It also bugs me that The Doctor doesn't seem to really talk about his past unless it's relevant. Of the top of my head the only thing I feel would go against that would be like when Martha got him to talk about Gallifrey, in Gridlock, which was great. Knowing me I could be forgetting other moments, but yeah.

It would never be part of an episode, and even in a book I think it would be trimmed down or something, but I would love to see The Doctor just lay about some place, like in New Earth with Rose, and just tell his Companions stories. No action or anything, just relaxing with tales of The Doctor's past. I would even settle for lying about the TARDIS or something; especially if it included a room other than the Control Room. Another annoyance, only seeing two parts of the TARDIS in NewHu. Anyways, probably the closest to that would be The Doctor narrating a book story or something.

Anyways.
