I awoke around 2am to the sound of my power backup beeping very loudly and to total darkness. The electricity had went off again and apparently had been out for sometime. Nothing unusual really but I decided to go outside and see what its like. Now this was kinda strange, it was perfectly still, absolutely nothing was moving, except for the occasional rumble of thunder and that impressive lightening. Everything was dark, quite and still. It was fairly lit outside from the moonlight peeking through the clouds and I just hadnt seen it that way around here before. Usually there are enough lights and people out and about all the time. However this serene moment was destroyed when these idiots that live a building over came out with flashlights (the ones with the traffic cones on the end) and started waving and dancing around outside. They are always up all night outside doing stupid stuff and being loud. I had to 'shhhhhhh' them the other night. I like it when it storms big, I think its relaxing and its cool to watch. Rain also makes perfect for sleeping weather.

So I made my way around shutting everything off that I didnt want bothered by the electricity should it keep coming and going the rest of the night. The worst part about it now, is that I have to go and reset things that dont have an internal battery. pfft. Not sure what time everything came back on, but its a beautiful day out right now. Perfect to go to the pool.
