Sci-Fi Friday

I really thougherly enjoyed all 3 shows Friday night. SG-1 was quite amusing and interesting. It was funny to see Vala, who amuses me anyway gesturing about and be able to see Daniel in the moniter doing the same. The Ori ships the villagers were building looked rather interesting and another Supergate is out there heh.
I also liked the camera effect when Daniel/Vala is looking at Sam at the beginning, it gave the effect like we were seeing her through a 'different' camera instead of 'normal' (like how they did the on camera stuff in Heroes) camera. Perhaps it was because it was Vala looking through Daniel? I dunno but still neat.
Darth Vader! ehee love the gratuitous Star Wars references and leave it up to Teal'c to insert one :P The conclusion looks good, though I'm sure it will be leave us hanging somewhere. How can the TPTB not leave us hanging at the end of a season lol. I've been fairly unspoiled for the majority of season 9 and know little about season 10 and I'm going to try to stay that way. We will see how long it lasts when there are no new eps to quench that thirst heh
Atlantis was good as well and oh did McKay crack me up. He amuses me so much and I like that little computer pack he was wearing on his back. The Orion! I love how they are keeping with Mythological names for the ships for SG-1/SGA but it was too funny when McKay wanted to name it the Enterprise. hehe Anyway so it's another Ancient Warship, very cool and comes in handy I must say.
BSG was good though I was expecting some other stuff to happen probably because I was accidently spoiled and it will come in the second half. I'm glad Anders is still alive and hope he makes it back with them because he's pretty cool and I like him. So they found a planet that could sustain life, how nice. While I don't think its a good idea for them to use it as a permanent settlement, it is rather interesting that the first lost Raptor just happened upon it. Coincidence? Maybe or maybe not. This may be silly but if they were to settle on the planet, do they have prefab buildings/houses on board the ships somewhere? I mean they were talking about people sleeping in beds instead of bunks and living on the ground instead of a ship, but aren't they going to have to rebuild everything down there? I think I'd take the bunk and settle for going for a little vacation on the planet or something :P
Anyway thumbs up for all the eps, a good Sci-Fi Friday it was. Indeed.
