See, I was enjoying a piece of pie while watching and as it turned out the pie was more interesting than the episode so this may not be all that informational. By the way, pie is good.
So, Ronon's old buddy Tyre (sp?) decides to ambush him and Teyla so that he can take a kidnapped Ronon back to the Wraith so he can get his Wraith enzyme fix because he's in withdrawal. He can barely walk and function yet he manages to ambush them and get Ronon back to the Wraith base. The Wraith want to turn Ronon and he resists at first but eventually becomes addicted himself and goes all darkside when they come to rescue him. Tyre recovers from his withdrawal back on Atlantis and helps them rescue Ronon. Ronon punches Sheppard in the face. Tyre chops off the Wraith's handy hand with a sword, I think they should have called him 'stumpy'. In the end he sacrifices himself so the others can escape while he blows up the Wraith lab.
Meanwhile back on Atlantis Teyla's having a 'to re-join the team or not to re-join the team' sort of crisis which she eventually decides to re-join the team again. Baby daddy supports her and all is well.
They have a new briefing room table that reminds me of a ping-pong table. Woolsey wants everyone to excuse themselves from the dinner table before going off on a mission and apparently the doors dislike him enough to not open for him like they do for everyone else. We also learned that Woolsey is divorced and had a Yorkie which he loved and misses very much. He actually sympathizes with Teyla. As odd as it may seem, he just may grow on me after some time but I'll reserve that judgment for when the time comes that he actually does grow on me. And he also relaxes by wearing a suit.
Ronon goes through withdrawals, yells at Sheppard then completely returns to normal. Rodney takes baths ala Archimedes to solve problems. He likes lots of bubbles apparently.
Yeah, that about sums it up. Next week does look interesting however, an alternate reality sort of thing with some new baddie. I await it.
And another thing... Sci-Fi has absolutely no idea of what "To be continued" really means, none at all. This was evident as I was watching The Stolen Earth and they completely spoiled the final episode. I mean they totally gave away just about the entire plot in it's preview for next week. So no anxious waiting and fingernail biting from a wretched TBC for Sci-Fi viewers. I think that would have seriously annoyed me if I hadn't already seen it. Silly skiffy.
