Star Trek XI trailer 2 HQ

After watching it again in better quality, I found myself a bit more excited about it. Visually, I think it's going to be a stunning movie. I'm still on the fence about it all though, I just can't decide right now!

This looks great! I'm still irked that they pushed back the release date, we could be watching it next week! But still, it looks to be good and I'm excited for it.

Now that the box set is out, the deleted scenes are really starting to filter in. I said I wasn't going to watch anymore until I got the actual box set but I accidentally pressed play on a couple... :P
Journey's End beach scene
I'm kind of glad this was cut, while I still like the idea of Handy being given the TARDIS coral (which yes, still looks like a chicken leg from KFC) I don't know if I would have liked this execution of it. Well, I think it's because I didn't so much like Donna's attitude about traveling forever as equals and all that, she seemed a bit too arrogant. It was almost like a slap in the face to Rose sort of. Not Donna like at all. But I did like "The Doctor. In the Tardis. With Rose Tyler." And I still can't get over that TARDIS coral, it really looks like poultry! Couldn't they have used a nice crystal looking thing or something. lol :P
Journey's End Donna scene
This one nearly made me sad. The look of almost recognition on Donna's face at the sound of the TARDIS. I've always been under the impression that while she may not outright remember everything, she would little bits and pieces in ways that would influence her from that point on. I wouldn't of minded this being left in except for the Cyberman part at the end. Cut that, it would have been good.
I'm anxious to get the box set and see the rest :D
