Because I like lists, I've compiled a short list of things I'm waiting for. Of course this list isn't exhaustive, there are many more things I'm looking forward to but this is composed of those on the top.

Ordered by date of release/return:

Survivor: Cook Islands - Thursday, September 14th @ 8pm
Veronica Mars - Tuesday October 3rd @ 9pm
Lost - Wednesday, October 4th @ 8pm
Battlestar Galactica - Friday, October 6th @ 9pm
The OC - Thursday, November 2nd @ pm
Medium - Pushed back to an unknown date in January which annoys me because it's probably just to make room for their new show to be aired on Monday nights. I hope it doesn't get the boot like so many other shows seem to be.
American Idol - Tuesday, January 16th, 2007 @ 7pm
There are a couple new shows that I plan on watching but they aren't quite list worthy just yet.

Behind the Mask: The Blooding of Hannibal Lecter - December 2006

Star Trek DS9: Fearful Symmetry - April 2007
Star Trek Mirror Universe Book 2: Obsidian Alliances - April 2007
Star Trek DS9: Twist of Faith (actually an omnibus of the first 5 books of the relaunch but I want it anyway) - May 2007
Star Trek Titan: Sword of Damocles - July or August 2007
Harry Potter Book 7 - Sometime in 2007 (possibly July?)
There are other various authors that I read but not quite the must haves at this point, I'll get around to them sometime.

Shrek the Third - May 18th 2007
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - July 13th, 2007

There are many other movies that I want to see but these two are the only that come to mind when I'm thinking of opening nighters. Perhaps I'll add more as time goes by.
