Bad skiffy bad

So Turn Left aired tonight on Sci-Fi and they butchered the entire episode! They cut out so many things, albeit things that weren't that essential to the main plot but still. It wasn't 3 minutes into it and I swear they'd cut out almost a whole minute of it, most the market scene at the beginning was missing. Why do they do that? What's the purpose of cutting out so much? To make room for more commercial time? Because really we need more of that. And it seems some episodes get cut worse than others, what makes them decide just how much to cut from which episodes? It kind of makes me sad for folks who are only watching it on Sci-Fi because they probably have no idea of all that's missing. Thank goodness for teh internets!

And you've heard it before but I love this episode so much. It's awesome beyond awesome. I don't think I could ever choose a series-wide overall favorite episode because there are so many that I love and for different reasons but this one would come really close to it.
