In which I fidget nervously

It's no secret now... it's been officially announced that they will be revealing who the next Doctor is during a special confidential Saturday.
"The eleventh Doctor of the TV series - will be revealed in a Doctor Who Confidential programme on BBC One at 1735 on 3 January."
I'm nervous about it but also excited. I, like many others, fear that the wrong person could mean doom for the show and I certainly don't want to see that happen. There are so many more wonderful things to do and stories to tell, I'd hate to see it bottom out just because of a bad casting decision. I think what makes me the most nervous about it is the changeover from RTD to Steven Moffatt as I wouldn't have worried about it before, I can't help but do just that now. I just hope it's someone good who will carry the show well on into more years. I can also still hope for it to be David Morrissey, they can find a way to explain it I'm sure! :P
Still, I'm going to miss my Ten so much. I'm refusing to think of his regeneration until it's time for it to happen. *sniff*
And also... that bit I posted about before concerning a Doctor Who musical and DT being in it, here's another article about it. How much of any of this that might be true, I've no clue but OMG. I would love this so much even if it were awful. I don't think it would be though.
