Oh man what an episode. I don't know quite where to start so I'll just hit a couple highlights. I get what Lee is trying to prove but I don't believe in how he is going about it. What he did with Tigh and Roslin was nothing more than throwing out a oophole. It seems obvious to me that he had no hard evidence or proof of what he wanted to say so he played on Tigh's alcoholism and Roslin taking meds again. It seems low to me, instead of focusing on who's on trial, let's just focus on the faults of people testifying against him. Something else I found interesting about Lee was the fact that Dualla is now leaving. It's interesting because of all the stuff that happened with him and Starbuck, but it's now that she decides to go.
I totally didn't see Roslin's cancer returning, of course at first when she was "cured" I didn't quite believe that was it either, so I guess I should have been prepared for it. Especially when she had the dream/vision about Hera.
And unless I missed it, what exactly is it in the ship that Tigh keeps hearing. The tracking device? Something else? I think Helo nailed it when he said a storm is coming, I really want to know about things! Oh I can't wait until next week, it looks to be another explosive finale. And if there's one thing BSG does, it goes out with a bang each season. hehe
And I don't know about anyone else, but I am so tired of seeing stuff about that new Quentin Tarantino movie. And as I also realized tonight, he shares some similar features as David Hewlett. I think it's his forehead and hair. Nevertheless, it's kind of disturbing.

Hiya cutie ;)
This episode was.. depressing. Lee is a retard and is getting played like a drum by that lawyer...
i guess thats the nature of drama shows tho, 2 extremes and nothing in the middle, Admiral Odama being all "hang'em high" and stuff and Lee being all "omg fair trial (really 'omg let him go')"
ah well.
Don't be a stranger ;)

Date: 2007-03-20 08:08 pm (UTC)I don't know, as a law student I'm skewed ;), but I get what Lee's doing. It's like the ACLU, everyone supports their mission, they just don't like that they do it with EVERY issue. But when you have Dee saying, "The system elected Baltar" ... um, yea? So, what do you propose? No democracy? I guess I'm suppose to feel bad for Lee, but I never liked Dee, so ... he's free now!!!
And, as for Lee ... I guess I don't understand him. I mean, what does he want from life? He's not a die-hard pilot. But he is a leader. Heh, he should run for president next time! ...of course, not so much after defending Baltar...
