I'm torn between two things right now...playing WoW and watching Star Trek. I've been wanting to watch First Contact again all week but I'm also a bit anxious to get to lvl 40 in WoW as well. Choices, choices. Perhaps I'll do both, the night is still young afterall.
I know I'm only a few episodes into it but I'm really starting to like Kyle XY. It's not the best show or anything, but I am enjoying it and it's interesting. I wish the season 1 DVDs were out so I could just rent them and watch them all instead of waiting for the reruns every Monday night. pffft. Assuming I continue to enjoy the show, I'll add it to my 'currently watching' list for when season 2 returns.
Also, Freedom Writers is a really good movie, you should watch it. And The Prestige was good as well. It seems I may have shook that 'bad movie slump' I had fallen into. I've got season 1 of Babylon 5 and Firefly coming next, so we shall see. heh
And a meme...snagged from just about everyone:

Date: 2007-04-24 04:06 pm (UTC)I love Babylon 5 but thoroughly hate season 1 so if you don't like it just really try and get through it because it gets truly amazing when Bruce Boxlitner joins the cast!
Can't wait to see what you think of Firefly :) Speaking of which ... Nathan Fillion (aka Capt. Mal Reynolds of Firefly) is starring in Drive now ... a pretty decent show (8pm EST on FOX) ... if you've not been watching you can catch up at Fox.com :)

Date: 2007-04-25 02:29 am (UTC)I'll keep that in mind about B5, I've heard pretty good things from various people about the show and since I never watched it, I thought I'd give it a try and see how it goes.
Oh! I don't know if I told you or not but I liked Serenity when I watched it which has prompted me to want to see the show. I think I probably just didn't give it a proper chance the first time I saw an ep and it was several eps into it so I didn't see it from the beginning. I've seen the previews for Drive but haven't watched it, not that I really need anymore shows to get into lol but I'll try to catch it next time it's on. :)

Date: 2007-04-25 12:55 pm (UTC)Please,Please,Please make it at least through season 2 of B5. Season 1 is important as far as the mythology goes but the serious intrigue and character development truly hits it's stride in season 2 and later. I know folks out there who love season1 as much as the rest and I hope you'll be like them but if not ... hold on for the later seasons :)
Yeah, you told me about liking Serenity and I was very happy to hear it :) I'm sure you'll like Firefly especially seeing it in the proper order! When Fox aired it they put the eps out of order which made it difficult for people to follow.
I've been liking Drive. The stories are solid, the acting is good, and the scenarios are interesting. Give it a try ... you can still catch the premier 2hr ep at Fox.com I think. Although I understand your dilemma with too much to watch ... I bet your DVR is getting quite the work-out.
