Evolution of the Eggling

My Eggling is growing! It looks like an egg, you crack the top to reveal dirt inside. You water it and place it in the sun and a plant should start growing from the egg. I really didn't expect it to grow (hell I can't keep fake plants alive) but it seems to be doing pretty good. This particular one is supposed to be a Petunia and if it gets big enough, you can transplanted from the egg to a flower pot. We shall see.

Date: 2007-08-10 12:34 am (UTC)I love having plants but back home I didn't have any good sunlight in my room, so I got bamboo since it's like the easiest thing to take care of -- doesn't need much sun and all you have to do is add water like once a week. It did really well for like a year.....then I moved to my new apartment and I thought it would do great b/c it was just like my old place, bright but not too much direct sunlight. It died within a week! I still don't know why...
So I've kinda given up on plants for now, can't even keep bamboo alive, lol.
