Snagged from [livejournal.com profile] starbuck92:

1. Who is your favorite SG-1 character?
Sam. Though Jack is right up there too.

2. Who is your favorite Atlantis character?
McKay. I can't help it, I love that geeky snarkasm of his. Sheppard is also pretty close.

3. What is your favorite SG-1 episode?
Threads and/or Moebius. I really like to say they're both my favorites for different reasons. Threads was just a beautiful and awesome episode all around. Moebius is quite possibly one of the funniest things I've ever watched of all time. The series could have ended after it and I would have been 99.99% happy.

4. Who is your favorite villain? (in SG-1)
I'm gonna have to go with old school Goa'uld, like: Ra, Apophis & Heru'ur. Not so much the later Goa'ulds though Ba'al was a good baddie.

5. Who is your favorite villain? (in Atlantis)
hmmm, I suppose probably the Genii. Specifically Cowen mostly because he was played by Colm Meaney ;P

6. P-90 or Zat?
Zat!

7. You'll be...Jaffa or Tok'ra?
Tok'ra. *makes glowy eyes*

8. Goa'uld mother ship or X-303?
Ha'tak all the way.

9. Ori or Ancient?
Ancient. Orieos hahaha whatever.

10. Who is the best O'Neill.. Kurt Russell or Richard Dean Anderson?
ZOMGRDA!!!11 No offense Kurt but h e l l o, it is RDA after all ;)

11. The best Daniel Jackson...James Spader or Michael Shanks?
Michael Shanks. Though I really did like James Spader and I think Shanks did a good job continuing the roll after him.

12. Asgard or Replicator?
Asgard! They're so cute heehe

13. Who is the best leader of Atlantis, Weir or Carter?
Weir! I like Sam on SG-1 not so much Atlantis. Period.

14. Who is best leader of the SGC...Hammond, O'Neill, Weir or Landry?
Hammond of Texas!

15. Jonas Quinn or Vala Mal Doran?
Jonas grew on me after awhile but Vala amused me so much more.

16. Col. Mitchell or Dr. Fraiser?
Janet! Like there's even a comparison :P

17. Who would you kill first . . . Apophis, Baal, Cronos, Hathor, Yu or Anubis?
Hmmm. Probably Anubis. I wouldn't have minded seeing more development for Cronus though.

18. Keller or Beckett?
Carson of course!

19. In a 1 on 1 fight, who would win . . . Teal'c or Ronon?
Definitely Teal'c. He's older and wiser. And he's Teal'c!

20. What is your favorite Atlantis episode?
Before I Sleep

21. Carter or McKay?
Oh, my two favorites from both shows. pffft. Both? If I had to choose, I'd go with Sam since I've liked her longer.

22. Dr. Bill Lee or Radek Zelenka?
Dr. Lee. He plays WoW lol :P

23. Stargate the movie (1994) or The Ark Of Truth?
Well, since I haven't even watched The Ark of Truth yet. (I'm planning on it soon though) probably the original movie at this point.

24. Major Lorne or Major Davis?
Lorne *squee*

25. and finally, SG-1 or Atlantis?
SG-1, I've had a lot of time and effort invested into it. SGA might have had a go at the fav if they hadn't messed it all up.

lol! Maybe after your XF re-watch you can do SG-1 & SGA :D

Oh yea, Excelsis Dei that's a strange episode certainly. She's also on the Kyle XY show that I watch but her character is sort of mean in it lol :P

oooh yes Colm, I enjoyed seeing him in Atlantis, even if he was one of the bad guys :P

*loves colliding fandoms*

Indeed! Here's hoping B has bought the set by then :D

I can't believe you know the name of the episode by heart!!! I can only do that with TNG LOL! (and Season 3 Buffy). She was a tad mean in Excelsis Dei too. Obviously Teryl can play both very well :D

You don't see Colm in much these days, really. I remember there was a while there I saw him in nearly everything!

*Also loves colliding fandoms*

Well I'm sure there are some episodes that I'd not remember as easily :P Titles tend to stick with me pretty easily and I usually associate it with something obvious in the episode so I don't forget it. I'm good with XF, SG-1, DS9 and later seasons TNG. It probably relates to whole 'how many times I've watched these things' conversation we had earlier ;P

It is too bad about Colm not being in more, I'd love to see him again in new stuff. I read that he's going to be in a new show coming up Life on Mars it's not really new actually but they're doing a US re-make of the original BBC show. I'll probably watch it :P

re: Life On Mars - I've always heard great things about that and intended to watch it (the BBC version, obv.) but S doesn't have an aerial b/c she downloads everything - and when I'm at home I rarely watch TV (too busy being online :P) & with all our American shows I just kept forgetting asking S to d/l it. duh. I bet you guys do treat it well though. I'm usually not a fan of remaking original things but England in the 70's= zzzzzzzzzz America in the 70's=awesome! - so I'll probably end up watching the American remake lol. /ramble

I've heard good things about it too and I am interested in seeing it, especially since they are doing a re-make here. I wish it were available on BBCA but I doubt it'll ever be. It's also not available on Netflix so I'll probably have to dig around for it to dl if I decide to watch it. LOL @ your 70's comparison! Now that I think of it, I have absolutely no idea of what England was like in the 70's. lol

Well, I don't really have first hand knowledge of that myself lol! I can only go by movies :P The music was pretty good on both sides of the pond - but England just can't do cars/fads like America can :P

That said, you guys DID apparently miss the whole worldwide ABBA craze obsession. *tisks* ;O

*edited b/c 'craze' wasn't the right word re: ABBA. It was/is most definitely an obsession for the UK, Europe and Australia. We Just lurrrrve them <333 & always will.

lol yay for cars & fads! Fads especially, I will definitely say we do fads to the extreme here lol :P

I know of ABBA and I know I've heard their songs before I just probably didn't know it was them singing it. In fact the only ABBA song I can think of is 'Dancing Queen' (I think that's the title?) because I've heard it used in movies and on TV before but that's about it :P

*cheers for obsessions & crazes* ;D

Yes, Dancing Queen is indeed the title. It seems to be a good one to get ppl, well, dancing lol! B/c of that I'm a little sick of it tbh :x Like I DO like it - but there are other songs of theirs that work just as well to dance to. K - this makes it sound like I go dancing loads - when that's the furthest thing from the truth lol! This is observation from parties etc rather than anything else. I actually can't think of a worse way to spend time other than in a club x_x Too loud, techno is rubbish (imho), all the seats are taken and booze is uber pricey. Gimme a pub any day :P /mini rant

I'm surprised you know of ABBA tho. Go you! :D

Yes, you guys do have a knack for doing fads super well - but that just part of what makes u all so fun! :D

Well I'll admit the only reason I know that song belongs to ABBA is because I once saw it on the TV show That 70's Show lol ;P But I know I've heard it used before in other things and realized that after it was in that episode. I highly doubt I'd be able to recognize anything else of theirs tho :P

whooo fads = fun. Oh, and multitudes of reality TV ;) Which I guess is sort of a fad in itself heheh :D

You didn't find the Daniel parts of Threads really....I dunno....boring? I watched that ep recently as part of my SG-1 season8 rewatching and ended up fastforwarding through all the glowing!Daniel scenes.

The diner scene? Actually no, I liked it and thought it an interesting parallel to everything else going on.

I've yet to do a Stargate re-watch and probably won't for some time because I'm still kind of pffft about it all. :P

Parallel how? I think the diner scenes amount to tedious, drawn out exposition. Until Oma did her thing at the end I thought 'and the point of this is....?' As much as I loathe the other shippy Carter/Pete/Jack/Kerry storyline, at least it was moving the episode along and worked nicely with Jacob carkin' it.

I find it helpful to ignore the existence of seasons 9 and 10. Moebius was a good finale to the series. The rest of it is Stargate SG-1 v2.

Well I mean like the pace at which things are going with Daniel compared to everything else going on. I liked the setting, the quaint little diner with Oma and Anubis there. While in contrast, Jacob is dying, everything going on with Sam/Jack (you can't deny it)/Pete/Kerry. I dunno, I just liked it.

Oh yes me too. I admit they exist and while I did like some episodes and Vala, the show truly ended for me at Moebius ;)
