This trailer is made of so much awesome. Really, it's an excellent trailer. Though I can't help but feel both excited and a bit wary of it. Speculating on the end of this series is seriously going to drive me nutty. Nutty! Like nuts, but more! I don't know if I've anticipated something quite this much since oh probably the end of SG-1 season 8 *twitches*
Most of my conflict lies with what might happen with the Doctor, Rose & Donna. Obviously something is happening in the parallel universe (with the Daleks I'm guessing) and they are coming through possibly a tear and Rose is trying to warn/help the Doctor on the other side. I really want a Doctor/Rose reunion, a proper reunion and if something happens to her I hope there's at least a proper goodbye. What I don't really want is another repeat of Doomsday because I think it'd cheapen the whole effect of it in the first place. Though I could see something where they know the rift/tear is going to close and she might be pulled back through, just as long as there's a proper goodbye. What I absolutely don't want is for Rose to have a choice rather or not to stay and chooses to leave. This to me would be the worst possible outcome because I don't think she'd ever make a choice like that. Out of all the companions so far, Rose is the one who has been steadfastly loyal to the Doctor and stood by him no matter what the consequences/outcome (and not saying the other's weren't/aren't I just think more so with Rose) and I can't think she'd ever willingly leave him. As much as I can't believe I'm even about to say this (because I take the death of favorite characters very seriously) I'd almost prefer her to die (doing something good of course, not senseless) rather than the above outcome. Really though, I have absolutely no idea what they've got planned and there is so much speculation flying around, some that sounds very much believable that it's hard to even try and determine what they've got up their sleeves. But the magazine cover said they're going to make us cry, do they really need to make us cry even more?? Maybe it's a happy kind of crying. hahaha yeah I doubt it too :P
As far as I know David Tennant has signed for the post-series specials and I've only heard rumor rather or not he is returning past that. I don't even want to think about this new regeneration because I'm so not ready for it to be someone else
And I really don't want Donna to die! Trying as hard as I can (okay, maybe not all that hard) not to be too spoiled about the future of the show, I have no idea what they have planned. Except of course for Stephen Moffat taking over as lead which is cool. I personally don't see why everyone dislikes RTD so much, I happen to like most his stories. Anyway, whatever they are going to do, I really just don't want Donna to die though I don't see her really wanting to leave the Doctor either and I'm afraid something is going to happen to her. So many possible outcomes and so far away still.
You know, I think I'm starting to enjoy picspams... maybe I should do them more often :D

An irrational fear of the dark that's not irrational. But of course.

Wilf!! "The stars are going out" Perhaps all the worlds that have gone/going missing?

Rose, check. Big honkin' space gun, check. Determination, check.

Calm and collected, this is definitely a more mature and wisened Rose. I just hope not by too much as in being hardened and cold about things.

The world is falling apart around us but no matter what's happening, Rose is coming back. Yay! Thank you Donna.

Some running, gotta have the running.

"Not everyone comes back out of the dark."

Skeleton in a space suit, mmhmm.

"Stay in the light!" And sonic-y looking.

"Don't play games with me!" oooh, I feel Doctor wrath about.

Whatever he's up to, I'm sure it'll be interesting.

"Now we're in trouble"

Trouble, you say?

Daleks! I don't know why everyone is against the Daleks returning, I mean yeah we've had them around for awhile but I like them so it's all good with me. Though the poor Doctor, they really do plague him.

Jumping Doctor, yes please.

More running. Hello over there Donna.

This I'm not so sure of, maybe the Doctor trapped out in the Vortex or something.

Fire in the TARDIS!?! Quick, put it out!

Donna, what's wrong?! Something on your back? Please don't die Donna.

Yikes!

Davros?

"It's coming Donna, it's coming from across the Stars and nothing can stop it." "What is?!" "The Darkness."
Must. See. All. These. Episodes. Now.

Yes, that's it disrupter. I thought it looked like Jack's gun but for some reason couldn't get 'disrupter' from it lol :P

Date: 2008-05-25 08:11 am (UTC)The trailer is fabulous, though poor Rose is stuck with the cheesy lines. It'll be interesting. We have Jenny coming back, Rose, Donna, Martha, and possibly Jack. (Tennant promised on the Friday Night Project that there would be an episode with all three of his companions.) I think an episode with all of them would make my head explode with fangirly joy...and it may just be too much for the poor Doctor.
I'm really really exccited.

Date: 2008-05-26 10:01 pm (UTC)I'm really curious about all of them together as well, lol the poor Doctor indeed. Good thing the TARDIS is bigger on the inside because it might get a little crowded :P
I'm really really exccited.
Oh, me too :D
