Alright... TV stand - 1, Me - 0. I sort of just looked at the box and fell asleep. So that didn't get done but I'll do it tomorrow.

I did however watch Stargate Atlantis since I didn't bother with it on Friday.

You know, I think I've missed watching Stargate over the past few months even if it is Atlantis which I think is heading south. Or actually is already there. But I wasn't all that impressed with Search and Rescue especially not for a season opener but it wasn't all that bad everything considered. Probably the best part was a panic-y Rodney delivering Teyla's baby. Because I still <3 McKay. Sam's joke to Rodney near the end about Teyla naming the baby after him was funny. And I still find the idea of Woosley being in charge of Atlantis laughable. Which is sort of a shame because if the character wasn't such a stick in the mud he might be kind of interesting because Robert Picardo is so funny. Um, yeah. I think that's really about it.

I'm still looking forward to Stargate Continuum after hearing some good things about it. And I read not long ago that Amanda Tapping's web series Sanctuary is getting a 13 episode run on Sci-Fi this fall which is kind of cool.

Speaking of Sci-Fi, anyone remember the show Scare Tactics? Well, it's back again and just as silly as it was before. I really don't know how people can be fooled by some of the stuff they do but it still makes me laugh. Because it's silly and scaring people is funny. hee

Also, anyone know if/when Kyle XY is going to return? I figured it should have been back on by now. I hope it's not been canceled. I suppose I could go look it up. That just might be a grand idea.

Oh, hang in there. I know what you mean about the TV stand, but I have every confidence in you. I didn't use to be very handy, but I am married to a man who is even less handy and a procrastinator to boot, so getting tired of waiting around for him to get to anything I started doing it myself. Put together some shelves for my younger boy's room. I put togher a rather nice TV stand a few years back.
You can do it. I will be cheering you on.

Well, I don't have a problem putting stuff together (most the time lol) but I think my sugar induced energy just ran out when I went to start it :P This one isn't that big and doesn't have a million little annoying parts that I know of so hopefully it won't take that long :D

Oh, better luck with the TV stand tomorrow! (I think I may have missed one of ur posts. Oh noooessss) :S

I know nothing of a show called Scare Tactics, sorry :/

According to Wikipedia, you have to wait until January for your next fix of Kyle methinks. Wow - that sucks. That is a looooooong time x_x

Thanks! The mention of the TV stand was tacked on to the end of a sugar induced rambling DW post so it was just lost in the ensuing crazy I'm sure :P

I can say you're not missing much, Scare Tactics that is but it is funny. But it's pretty cheesy too. It's one of those hidden camera reality shows where they set up an unsuspecting victim and scare them. The stuff they do can be pretty lol but I guess folks fall for it. :P

January geez, that'll put it at about a year before it returns. I think several shows are suffering long waits like that, probably still from the writers strike or something. Good grief!

It's also currently only 10 episodes long. :/

Interesting that you mention SGA. I was watching OBFreak's Stand in the Rain music vid, and I got really sad seeing all Weir stuff. That vid really is an elegy for her character. I just really missed the old Atlantis that had Weir and Carson and everyone that I really liked acting the way they were supposed to.

I think I am going to break down and buy season 3 on DVD, since there are some really good episodes during that season. I'm just so sad that they had to butcher my show, but I'll hold on to what was good.

Meanwhile, you will probably be my source of info in Atlantis, since I'm not going to bother watching it myself. No pressure. :P

hmm never seen that vid. Sigh. Old Atlantis :(

Well, I don't know if I'll be the best source for all your Atlantis needs :P I doubt I'll have a lot to say about it unless something's really funny or just really awesome. I'll try to keep yah well enough informed though ;P

I've found the post-Weir fatlantis episodes to be about as memorable as the Weir ones. That is to say, not very. I will say this though, Picardo looks feckin hilarious in the uniform. And ever since I watched this vid I've had trouble not giggling at Woolsey.

Continuum is much goodlier than Ark of Truth. Though in many ways I feel like it's just a glorified bigGER version of a SG-1 episode and not a movie. Still, twas entertaining.

hahaha that video. It amuses me :P

I sort of figured it would be more like just a glorified episode but I've not really heard anything bad about it, most people seem to have liked it. I haven't watched it yet because I'm just waiting to buy it, in no big hurry really. And hey, if you liked it, it has to be good ;)

Dude, it's so freakin' funny. It's completely ruined me for Woolsey scenes. And I'm not even a Voyager fan =d

Nah I think at this point, ANY non-ori/jack-present SG-1 that I can get is good SG-1. Basically I have little nitpicky issues with the thing but I'll take what I can get :P

lol. I'm not a VOY fan either but it amuses me muchly.

hehe indeed. They've been showing previews for it on Sci-Fi and I love seeing me some Jack back in it :D

but I'll take what I can get :P
Didn't I say that to you about S/J a couple days ago? ;P heehehe

Never could watch Voyager. Think it was the massive beehive Janeway was sporting.

poitpoit :P
Though, my problems with Continuum hardly compare with the massive issues I have about the crappy deleted scene :P

haha indeed. I've watched it off and on but it's definitely the Trek series I like the least, I haven't even seen all the episodes. haha @ beehive, it was very beehive-ish there for awhile wasn't it? Kate Mulgrew's voice used to really irritate me, not so much anymore but it was hard to sit through an entire ep without squirming about it.

Well that's just because you're not a poor shipper grasping for straws. Of you're still in denial about it of course ;P
