Stolen shamelessly from a post over at
doctorwho, it's supposedly the deleted bit from that scene that was mentioned in the Fact File and in the last Doctor Who Adventures. The script from it appears in the latest Doctor Who Magazine #398 and it's also supposed to be included on the series 4 DVD as a deleted scene. It and a few of my thoughts about it under the cut.
The Doctor
Tell you what, here you go -
Throws them a chunk of CORAL - Doctor #2 catches it.
The Doctor (CONT'D)
This universe is in need of defending. Chunk of TARDIS. Grow your own.
The Doctor #2
But that takes thousands of years
The Doctor
No, because...
Donna
... if you shatterfry the plasmic shell and modify the dimensional stabiliser to a foldback harmonic of 36.3, you accelerate the growth by the power of 59!
The Doctor / The Doctor #2
We never thought of that!
Donna
I'm just brilliant!
The Doctor
The Doctor. In the TARDIS. With Rose Tyler. Just as it should be.
Rose Tyler
(to the Doctor) But I didn't think, what about you? You gonna be all right?
The Doctor
Oh, I've got madam.
Donna
Human with a Time Lord brain, perfect combination! We can travel the universe forever. Best Friends! And equals, just what old skinny boy needs, an equal!
FX: The TARDIS lamp flares, the box groans.
Assuming this is authentic... now why couldn't they have left this in? I wish they would have, it would have made it seem a bit more transitional I think. I actually imagined something similar to this happening, I'd very much like to see video of it. Well, I kind of feel bad about the Doctor lying and saying he'll have Donna with him because surely he knew what was going to happen with her and what he would have to do. Of course, he'd not tell Rose that because he wouldn't want her to know he was going to be all on his own again. Still, this pleases me.
Oh, and the aforementioned DWM #398... it's a special edition with 4 collector covers. I want them all preciousssss, yessss them alllll.

Click to enlarge - and yes, it's a big picture! Not dial-up friendly. Does anyone even have dial-up anymore? o_0
