stargater: (dw ten oncoming squee)

OMG!

My head nearly exploded (in a good way) when they both pulled out a sonic screwdriver and said "allons-y!" at the same time. And the look Ten gave "the other Doctor" shortly thereafter lol. Whew. Though I still think that "the other Doctor" isn't actually a future incarnation, but an impersonator. More so now after his little speech about being the one and only, simply the best Doctor. And I just loved Ten all gleefully taking in the Christmas-y sights while walking around *squishes him* Oh, Ten.

I CAN HAS CHRISTMAS SPECIAL NAO PLZ???!1

Hm. That kind of made me a little grumpy. lol You'd think the tackily dressed Doctor would have recognized himself rather than waste time boasting. It's that and I've only seen that guy play really crazy creepy parts. He'll have to take some more getting used to than David Tennant did.

But I got grumpy right at the beginning when he first stepped out of the TARDIS....alone. *sigh*

Well, I think he's an impersonator and not another incarnation of the Doctor so he wouldn't have recognized himself. Maybe even a con artist or something, it wouldn't be that hard to find enough information on various worlds about the Doctor to be able to do such a thing. And I think the title is a big red herring. Of course DM could indeed be Eleven but I kind of think this may have been scripted before DT told them he was leaving. Still, I guess we can only wait and see.

I'm doing my hardest to remain positive and excited about the remaining specials & DT because I know when the regeneration actually happens, I'll be an emotional wreck for weeks :P

Yeah, I think I agree with you there. It just didn't seem to fit with how pompous and well...obnoxious he was with our real Doctor standing right there. When David Tennant first became the Doctor and I hated him he still fit at least. There was just something there that was right with it.
This doesn't have that at all.

And that may also be due to the fact that #10 is still alive and standing there. I dunno.

ALLONS-Y!

Yeah, I think you're right about the impersonator bit. (At least, I really hope you're right.)

hehe very good. Want More!!!!!

Did you know they were doing a contest for CiN where you could win a Tardis Key, I hope you really got one, and got to visit the sets & things? It's not fair being outside the UK...

I can't wait for it, it really looks like it's going to be quite good :D

I remember reading about a contest where you got a tour of the set and all. But you get a TARDIS key too! That's too cool. It does indeed suck being outside the UK. I still want to be able to visit the Doctor Who exhibit but that's unlikely too. Dam the ocean! ;P
