November 2007

1a. Why?
Saw black_raven_87 posting videos about it on my FL, I got intrigued and started asking questions and well, we all know the rest of the story :P Who (pun intended) knew the obsession that lay ahead for me?! :P

2. What was your first episode?
Rose. I queued and watched series 1 via Netflix "Watch Now" right away.

3. Which episodes have you seen?
All of NuWho including this last Christmas Special.

Turn Left.

4. Are your friends/family interested in the show?
Very few.

5. Which Doctor is your favourite?
Ten and most likely always will be. Yes, I know this to be true.

N/A

Rose and Donna.

8. Which TV companion is your least favourite?
Of the main companions, Martha though I like her, I just like the others better.

No, but I might at some point.

Negative.

Yes, several but only based on the new series.

Oh, I wish.

Of the books: The Stone Rose & The Monsters Inside. I actually have liked all that I've read except one (The Price of Paradise) because it was a snore fest.

Oh, there are so many that I've read/watched that I can't begin to list even a few of them here. I will say one thing though, I think the quality of fan creations is way higher than any other fandom that I've been involved with.

Not yet.

5. Have you ever dressed up as a Doctor Who character?
Again, not yet.

6. Do you own any Doctor Who merchandise?
Oh yeah, and my collection of it is growing.

Yup!

Not that familiar with it.

Wibbly-Wobbly, Timey-Wimey. Goes ding when there's stuff. And more of a catchphrase rather than technobabble but I love when Ten says "Allons-y!" hehe

13. Have you watched other TV shows exclusively because of the presence of Doctor Who actors?
Of course.

14. Have you met any of the actors?
Unfortunately, no.

Unfortunately, no again.

15. What do you think of The Curse of Fatal Death?
Haven't seen it. But I probably should.

16. Do you have any fannish opinions that you think are fairly unpopular?
Don't know if I'd call it 'fairly unpopular' really but it seems to have it's fair share of folks who didn't like it... but I loved Ten II (or Handy as I like to affectionately call him) and think of him as the Doctor just like any and all of his incarnations.

17. What's your favourite pairing?
Ten/Rose

18. What pairing(s) won't you touch with a really long pole?
Doctor/River - I'll never like it, sorry. Also, Doctor/Reinette and Doctor/Martha too.





And because it's one of the answers in the meme and I watched it again today, my favorite moment(s) from Turn Left. I say moment(s) because I really can't narrow it down any further between these two.

I love this whole scene beginning with those lines. The music, the overall tone of everything, I just like it and I don't know if I really have an explanation. Donna, figuring out what she was going to have to do to make things right and stepping back in the circle of mirrors about to travel in time and set right a parallel universe, it was just fantastic.

You know, I almost jumped up and screamed a little when I first saw/heard this. Oh, all right, I admit, I did jump and scream a little. But it was BAD WOLF and I love the idea of Bad Wolf and how it was used again here. Don't know if there's much else that can be said about that, it's just awesome, plain and simple.

Geez, I just love this show.

I don't know if I wanna attempt this or not. x) but right now I will say YES to Season 6b. I also have a fannish opinion which I'm not sure how popular or unpopular it is; it's thanks to a blog I came upon that I heard about it & then liked it.

Both of those are great moments. :)

Oh yes. Music vids, fan fic, artwork, you name it and something awesome has been done for it. Definitely higher quality.
