There's new photos of the shoot in Newport for an untitled 2009 special here @ David-Tennant.com. I don't consider them very spoilery but just in case I'm going to put my comments about something and one of the pictures

Firstly, the blue suit is baaaaaaaack! Of course, I can't help but love the idea that it might be a Handy adventure (with Rose of course) though I know that's pretty unlikely. But the blue suit does puzzle me, unless they're doing that on purpose to cause speculation. Or maybe it's just coincidence. Of course, it's not improbable that the Doctor wouldn't have multiple copies of the same suit, he probably has a half of dozen of each suit laying around anyway. I wonder what this is going to be about, I'm so excited for more new Who, I can't wait :D

And then there's this:

ooohh, tights. It's times like this that I have to wonder just when I became the fangirl that I am. *fans self*

Oh and I nearly forgot! I shouldn't have watched the video first, it distracted me :P Apparently, the green light has been given for a new desktop theme for the TARDIS. Article here. I kind of expected it and I'm okay with it as long as the outside stays the same - surely they'd never change that? I'm also amused at the thought of a Time Crash type of encounter where Nine,Ten or Handy meets Eleven and disapproves/comments/complains about the change xP

:D

And then there's the spectacularly, awesome news that DT's Hamlet is going to be filmedddddddddd on DVD!! Article here & here. I was really hoping this would come to be because I very much wanted to see it. Awesomesauce. :D

And watch this video, it's so very good but a little sad. It made me cry and feel all nostalgic. A perfect tribute to Rusty's era of DW. Now I need to go watch some of the above to make myself feel better.

I just knew they couldn't pass up a money-maker like that play on DVD. Just WAIT until you see it. You're going to die. *swoons* *cries because she can't relive it*

Honestly, this news has affected me more than I thought possible. Just the thought of watching the play over and over and over and OVER and over and over and OVER AND OVER again....it's enough to make me all a-flutter. Seriously. *faints*

LOL, how many times over again? ;P No, that's awesome. I'd be so stoked if I had enjoyed it so much and would be able to watch it whenever I wanted. I'm just excited to be able to see it in the first place, of course it's nothing compared to actually seeing it live like you did but I'll take what I can get :)

Really, I think they're going to do a fabulous job filming it. I have a feeling I'll be able to see a lot more from a staged filming than I did up in my squashed seat. :D

Oh, yes I think it'll be great too. And that's one thing I love about being able to watch things over, you're able to see things that might have been missed in the first or so viewing. :D

Oh, yeah. I thought the same, it'd bring in huge $$$ why wouldn't they do it? Especially after David had to be out for his surgery and so many folks didn't get the chance to see him. I can't wait to see it!! *shivers in anticipation*

That video made me cry, for real. I'm keeping an open mind to the new series and the new Doctor, I really am, but I'm so afraid they're going to muck it up.

Yeah, it was so good but sad too, I cried too. I'm still keeping an open mind for the new Doctor, I think Matt will do okay though I can't help but be a little wary of all the changes I've heard about SM wanting to make. I guess we can only wait and see.

Honestly. I have no problem with Matt. It's that weasel Moffat that I kind of want to smack. Changes to the TARDIS??? DId you see the article? Hmph. It makes me rather cranky.

Yeah, I'm wary of the Moff though I suppose I can understand him wanting to make it his own and stray from what RTD has done. That doesn't mean I'll like it or approve of it but I can understand it. I also figured the interior of the TARDIS would be re-designed, it happened a number of times in the classic series for new Doctors so I figured this would be no exception. I really don't want the exterior changed any though, that'll likely irritate me more than anything. I will also say some of the stuff that Moffat comments about really irks me and I worry about how that'll impact the stories. This is the number one reason why I'm actually glad that David is leaving before Moffat takes over is that his Doctor won't become victim to whatever may be in store for us.

Part of his decision to leave (even if it was a tiny part) must have had to do with Moffat's attitude etc. I'm irritated with him, too...he seems to not understand that he would be out of a job without RTD and the way he did stuff for the first 3 years.

(Yay, my icon! I always squee when I see someone use them. You must squee all the time because I use yours non-stop)

Yeah, I agree with the attitude bit - I do wonder if that had anything to do with it. Still, I can't think that RTD would leave the show to someone he didn't think could at least do it justice he seems to care for it way too much to just toss it away. But yes, definitely, without RTD and how he did everything there would have been no show and SM should realize that and be thankful for how far it's come and how it came to be in his hands.

heee! I love that icon, I have several of yours uploaded :D I do see some of mine often, it makes me squee too :D
