stargaterLazily woke up at about 9:30 this morning, have I mentioned I love when I can sleep in? Went over to Shellys, got my hair highlighted, cut and eyebrows waxed again. We went to lunch afterwards at China Garden, which was as usual good but their AC was broken and it was really hot in there. It is really hot outside all around, one of those sticky hot days. ick.
I had some errands to run, post office, mail off some bills, and I rented 3 movies. I got Wes Craven's 'They', 'Basic' and 'Phone Booth'. They all look pretty good.
Ive been looking for a new mouse for my laptop because I was using this crappy Gateway mouse with it before and I finally found one today that I wanted at Best Buy. It is a Microsoft Trackball Explorer. I think Im just getting lazy and dont want to have to move my hand more then needed when a little ball can do it for me :P I love this mouse too, its awesome. Typical of Microsoft tho, it wants to uninstall my touchpad program for the laptop to install its software and wont do it unless I uninstall the touchpad. pfft. I got all the buttons and everything on the mouse working and programmed just how I wanted without the hassle of that IntelliPoint. pfft.
While on my way to Springfield, I passed an older lady with her hood and trunk up on the side of the road. She looked like she needed some assistance, but I was going to fast to stop and there was no way to turn around so I called it into the MSHP. It was strange tho, she had like 6 hats scattered out along the top of her open trunk. Why would anyone need so many hats? Anyways neither she nor the vehicle was there when I returned so hopefully she got on her way safely. Also someone stole my parking space right out from under me at the Price Cutter, they had a lic plate that said SUE-PER. I was thinking super at that moment too...pfft. I definetly need to get my front lic plate replaced soon, it is now not wanting to stay attached after being warped from that offensive truck hitch.
There is this lady that lives down an apartment from me on the bottom level and for nearly 2 weeks they have left one of those 2-wheeled scooters sit out in the middle of the sidewalk in front of their apartment. They surely have to step over it to get to the car or to use the sidewalk and it really bothers me. Pick the damn thing up, Ive wanted to do so in the middle of the night, but for some reason I foresee it right back out there again somehow...
mmm food soon. I think Im gonna broil a KC stip steak. Either that or cheeseburgers, tommorrow Im making a roassssssst. mmmm you can never have enough roast. mmm
