Cellular curiosity
Oct. 11th, 2006 09:06 pmBecause it seems to be everywhere now, I'm just trying to figure out what the big deal about push-to-talk phones are. I suppose it could be convenience but more so than just pushing a speed dial button or selecting an entry from your phonebook? Are the push-to-talk phones better than others? I'm guessing it works basically like a long range walkie talkie sort of thing right? Suppose you accidently leave yourself available when you didn't mean to and someone starts talking about something embarrassing or something of the sort and everyone in the room hears it. *shrugs* I dunno, just curious why there's such a hype about it.
