heeehehe :D I keep telling myself that a tiny Dalek hat can't be that difficult to knit but then I go and get myself all tangled up in yarn and it's just not pretty :P But loving the idea of a tiny Dalek hat (with little holes for the eye lights) amuses me so that I'm definitely going to give it a whirl if I can ever learn the more complex stitches :P

I also want to make him a little hard hat and put him with a shovel so I can do "Excavate!" lol ;P I can't help it, toys are just too much fun hehe XD

Oh, no it's so frustrating to me lol. But I've come across sooooo many cute knitted/crocheted things that I want to learn to make them! Then again, it might end up on some shelf with my attempted plastic models ;P

I was actually thinking of doing it out of masking tape (so it'd be flexible, plus I have some so it'd be free :P) and then painting it yellow. I don't know how cheesy that'd look though until I do it and see how it turns out. If it doesn't work out, I figure I'll go to Wal-Mart and buy one of those cheap tool sets for little kids that has a little hard hat and a shovel in it :P

lol, it'd be like: "here we have some discarded models, among which you can identify the remains of a SPAD fighter plane and Colonial Viper and oh right over here is some knitting yarn and crochet needles!" lol :P

I haven't put my masking tape idea into practice yet, it may just end up looking like a wadded up ball of tape :P
