So, it appears to be true... Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas is actually closing and apparently will do so in September. Here's the original article about it.

I suppose it's not all that surprising but it's still sad because I thought it was a wonderful attraction. A definite must for any Trek fan. I'm so glad rithmah and I got to go when we did. It was so much fun, I loved looking at all the props and the walking time-line. The giddy excitement that I tried to contain while walking along the shops on the DS9 promenade, eating in Quarks (and falling out of the booth, that was so embarrassing) and in the Klingon Encounter ride standing on the bridge of the Enterprise-D then hurrying along to the shuttle to "escape" the Klingons. Then being poked in the back by the Borg nanoprobes and being sprayed in the face with the little squirts of water in the Borg Invasion 4-D ride. I'm still hoping they'll find a new home for it maybe add some new stuff and make it even better. That'd be grand.

Maybe that's why people laugh at me most the time ;P j/k But really silly things do tend to happen more to me than most. Even when I'm not trying! lol :P

I'm pretty certain the Borg don't brush. And really, they should. Probably floss too. A nice visit to the Collective-Hygienist might not be such a bad idea. Indeed.

LOL@ Borg hygiene advice. I wonder if they'd listen? Prob. not. Probably just stick those thingys in our necks and assimilate us. Although, you'd think once they'd assimilate a dentist they'd work on oral hygiene issue. :P

hahaha you'd barely have the word 'floss' out and they'd be like "Brushing and flossing are futile, you will be assimilated anyway" yoink! And then you're a Borg with stinky breath too. That's a fab idea, a dentist! *imagines a Borg saying "wait, I'll assimilate you just after I brush. **brushes** Hygiene, you know." as you stare at the Borg brushing it's teeth because really who wouldn't stare at a tooth-brushing Borg, then yoink!* hahah

Maybe the Borg would become obsessed with dental hygiene :P Then, rather than just assimilate new technology and stuff, they also go around being Nazi Borg Dentists lol! They'll assimilate your world, sure, but at least you'll have *amazing* teeth and breath afterward! ^.^

It's really late and I'm tired, but I am SO imagining like, Borg with Bee Gee teeth *chortles to self* Just ignore me ;p
